Overview:

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on marine engines, propulsion systems, and powersports equipment.
- Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults in marine electrical systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, and precision measuring instruments to execute repairs and fabrication tasks.
- Maintain power sports electrical systems, marine propulsion components, and mechanical systems through routine inspections and repairs.
- Follow safety protocols by utilizing personal protective equipment (PPE) during all maintenance activities and heavy lifting operations.
- Assist with assembly, rigging, and fabrication projects to support ongoing maintenance needs.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction with all service interactions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on marine or powersports vehicles; experience with marine mechanics is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience including troubleshooting marine or powersports electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Familiarity with outboard motors, inboard motors, snowmobile repair and diagnostics, and marine equipment repair.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, calipers, ohmmeters, and other precision instruments.
- Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), engineering troubleshooting, fabrication, and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of marine propulsion systems maintenance along with general vehicle maintenance skills for powersports equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety standards.
- Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on clear communication and professionalism.
- Certifications related to marine or powersports mechanics are advantageous but not required.
Hours:
Monday-Friday with the requirement of working one Saturday (1 Saturday per month: 8a-12p for 4 hours on that Saturday).
